§ 112.005 EXCEPTIONS.
   No provision of this subchapter shall apply to regulate theaters and concert halls or to any concert, musical entertainment, festival or other like performances, the profits from which are devoted exclusively to any religious, charitable, literary or scientific purpose. The provisions of this section shall not be effective with regard to charitable festivals sponsored by an organization which is not religious in character, until the Chief of Police has approved. This approval is to be granted only after the problems of traffic and the peace of the neighborhood have been given due consideration.
