(A) If the owner or operator of a fireworks stand within the city desires to have any electrical light, outlet or appliance to serve the fireworks stand, then the wiring shall be by overhead wiring, properly grounded, with the entire circuit protected by a ground fault interrupter. Light fixtures and light bulbs shall be protected by an appropriate wire or metal cage.
(B) Each fireworks stand must be equipped with at least 1 minimum 10-pound (10#) A.B.C. fire extinguisher.
(C) No fireworks stand shall be permitted within 100 feet of any fuel dispensing, fuel storage or similar facility, including gas stations.
(D) No smoking shall be permitted within 20 feet of a fireworks stand. Each stand shall have at least 2 “no smoking” signs prominently displayed thereon. “No smoking” signs shall be available free of charge from the Fire Prevention Bureau.
(E) Before business may be conducted from a fireworks stand or trailer, it must be inspected and approved by the Fire Prevention Bureau.
