§ 91.050 REQUIRED.
   (A)   Any person or household owning, keeping, harboring or having custody of any animal over 12 weeks of age within the city limits must obtain an animal license as herein provided. This provision may not apply to the keeping of small cage birds, caged rodents or aquatic and amphibian animals that reside entirely indoors as pets.
   (B)   Written application for a license shall be made to the City Controller. The application shall include the name and address of the applicant, a description of the animal, a current rabies certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian or clinic, and information as to whether or not the animal has been spayed or neutered by a licensed veterinarian or clinic.
   (C)   Application for a license shall be made within 30 days after obtaining a dog or cat over the age of 12 weeks, and shall be made by any person or household that harbors, keeps, or has custody of any dog or cat in the city for at least 30 days.
