(A) (1) It shall be unlawful for any person to sell, offer for sale, barter or give away any fowl under 6 weeks of age or rabbits under 2 months of age as pets, Easter novelties, toys or prizes artificially colored or otherwise.
(2) This section shall not be construed to prohibit the sale or display of any uncolored fowl or rabbits by breeders, hatcheries or stores specifically engaged year- round in the business of selling them to be raised for commercial purposes.

(B) Chickens, ducklings or rabbits younger than 8 weeks of age may not be sold in quantities of less than 12 to a single purchaser.
