(A) Any person who operates within the city a 2-wheel motorcycle, motor scooter or other vehicle of the same general class shall wear on his or her head a safety crash helmet.
(B) It shall be unlawful for any person to ride on any 2-wheel motorcycle motor scooter or other similar vehicle as a passenger unless, while being transported thereon, the passenger wears a safety crash helmet.
(C) Each crash helmet shall meet the minimum standards set by the state’s Commissioner of Motor Vehicles.
