(A) The operation of snowmobiles and off-road vehicles on any public property within the city is prohibited, except as provided in this chapter or otherwise expressly granted by laws of this state or the federal government.
(B) Notwithstanding anything contained in this chapter to the contrary, the operation of snowmobiles or off-road vehicles in any area zoned for residential purposes by the city is prohibited.
