§ 72.015 PARKING ON OR AROUND PUBLIC MEDIANS.
   (A)   Definition. For the purpose of this section, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      PUBLIC MEDIAN. The concrete portion of the roadway which divides traffic on any particular street. The PUBLIC MEDIAN also includes the center, or island of a street, regardless of ground cover.
   (B)   No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with law or the directions of a police officer or traffic-control device on, around or adjacent to the public median of any street in the city.
