(A) Any temporary user, prior to proceeding with a dewatering project, shall request, in written form, permission to discharge to the HSD Sewer System. Written requests should be submitted to the pretreatment coordinator 30 days prior to project start date.
(B) The following information is to be included in the request:
(1) Name, address and location (if different from address);
(2) Wastewater constituents and characteristics mentioned in §§ 51.020 through 51.037 as determined by a reliable analytical laboratory; and (Sampling and analysis shall be performed in accordance with procedures established by the EPA pursuant to § 304(g) of the Act and contained in Title 40 C.F.R. part 136, as amended.
(3) Time, duration and approximate volume of contribution.
(C) If all criteria is acceptable by the pretreatment coordinator, a temporary permit may be issued. A standard temporary permit shall expire 30 days after date of issuance. The fee for a temporary permit is $150. If the permitted project continues past the expiration date of the temporary permit, the permit may, if deemed acceptable by the District, be renewed at the same fee for another 30-day period.
(D) If a 3-inch or larger pump is to be used, the 30-day permit shall have a fee of $75 and a monitored flow charge of $1.20 per 1,000 gallons of wastewater.
(E) All provisions set forth in this chapter are enforceable and applicable for these permits.
