(A) The parks, park property, park equipment, including fields, open spaces, skate areas, water areas, tennis courts, play areas, sports areas and sports complexes located within the geographical boundaries of the City of Hammond are City of Hammond Parks. Such facilities, while open to the public, are for priority use by Hammond residents first, and non-residents must yield use to any Hammond resident(s) if they are present.
(B) Residency will be shown, if requested by the Inspections Department or Police Department, by any form of photographic identification showing a Hammond or Whiting address.
(C) This section does not apply to events scheduled in advance with the Hammond Park Department.
