(A) The city prohibits any alcohol misuse that could affect performance of work functions. This alcohol prohibition includes:
(1) Use while performing work functions;
(2) Use during the 4 hours before work;
(3) Reporting for duty or remaining on duty to perform safety-sensitive functions with an alcohol concentration of 0.08 or greater;
(4) Use of alcohol for up to 8 hours following an accident or until the employee undergoes a post-accident test; or
(5) Refusal to take a required test.
(B) With the exception of specially authorized extracurricular events/functions, city policy forbids the use or possession of alcohol on city grounds or in city vehicles.
