§ 33.03 FIRST RESPONDER FIREFIGHTERS, EMT’S, AND AMBULANCES REQUIRED AT SPECIAL EVENTS.
   (A)   This section shall apply to all special events, held or scheduled on property of the civil city or Park Department, in which vehicular exhibition events, circus events, or in which full body contact or dangerous exhibitions, such as MMA, at which admission is charged and attendance can reasonably be anticipated to exceed 100 persons.
   (B)   At all events as described in division (A), the sponsor of the event is required, at a minimum, to hire a First Responder Firefighter and an EMT or other unionized firefighting outfit to be present at the event.
   (C)   Where the special event involves a body contact sport, described below in division (D), at least 1 ambulance on reserve or non-active status shall be standing present at the site of the event.
   (D)   For the purposes of this section, the following are considered to be body contact sports:
      (1)   Karate;
      (2)   Wrestling;
      (3)   Boxing;
      (4)   Martial arts;
      (5)   Basketball; and
      (6)   Other full-contact body sports, as determined by the Board of Park Commissioners, excepting parks and recreation programs run by the Parks and Recreation Department.
   (E)   The cost of compliance of this section shall be borne by the persons sponsoring the event.
