§ 37.005 CHARGES FOR COPIES OF PUBLIC RECORDS.
   (A)   (1)   Pursuant to I.C. 5-14-3-8(D), the city does hereby find that a reasonable and necessary charge for copies of public records is $0.10 per page for loose documents.
      (2)   A party requesting a certified copy of any city document shall pay a fee of $5 for each certification requested.
   (B)   If a document is bound or in pamphlet form, the cost shall be the actual printing cost to the city and shall include no artificial mark-up.
   (C)   If a document is required via facsimile, the reasonable and necessary cost shall be $0.20 per page.
   (D)   Anyone requesting copies of any public record of the city shall make the request in writing on a form provided by the city, and shall be notified in advance of the total costs of the copies. The Department has the right to request payment in advance of the duplication of the record.
   (E)   The City Controller is responsible for the collection and handling of fees as provided for in this section.
   (F)   There shall be no fee charged merely for inspection or review of a public record.
   (G)   This section shall have no application for copies of public records where specific statutory authority provides for a different charge per copy.
