§ 37.001 MEMBERSHIP IN VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS.

   (A)   The Mayor of the city is hereby authorized to cause the city to be enrolled as a member of the Municipal League of Indiana.

   (B)   The city shall maintain membership in the following organizations. The City Controller is authorized to pay the dues and membership fees as may be required by the following organizations.

      (1)    The American Judicature Society;

      (2)    The American Judges Association;

      (3)    The Indiana League of Municipal Clerks and Clerk-Treasurers; and

      (4)    The International Institute of Municipal Clerks.

   (C)   Officials and officers of the city are hereby authorized to continue their memberships, and to continue paying membership fees in their various organizations and associations.
