§ 151.32 ONE LICENSE HOLDER FOR EACH FIRM OR CORPORATION; TERMINATION OF RELATIONSHIP.
   (A)   In the case of a firm, partnership or corporation, it shall be sufficient that 1 duly-authorized person, hereinafter called the licensed holder, of the firm, partnership or corporation shall pass the required examination. When the required examination is thus passed, a proper license may be issued to the firm, partnership or corporation, hereinafter called the electrical contractor, along with the name of the licensed holder. However, the license shall only be valid while the licensed holder, who passed the examination, is still employed in an active capacity with the electrical contractor. The licensed holder may only represent one electrical contractor.
   (B)   In the event the business association between the licensed holder and the electrical contractor terminates, the licensed holder shall immediately notify the city, and the right of the electrical contractor to do business in the city shall automatically expire and become null and void 30 days after the notice of termination.
      (1)   At any time during this 30-day period the electrical contractor can authorize a new person to be his or her applicant and upon notice to the Electrical Commission, the Commission will call a special meeting for the purpose of examining the applicant. If the applicant fails the examination, then, upon request of the electrical contractor, the Commission will appoint an acting bond company supervisor acceptable to the electrical contractor for a temporary period not to exceed 6 months from the date of original termination. If the electrical contractor’s authorized applicant does not pass the license examination by the expiration of the temporary 6-month period, the electrical contractor’s license shall be permanently terminated. Any applicant authorized by the electrical contractor to take the examination shall not be permitted to do so for a period of at least 6 months.
      (2)   Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, if the termination in the business association between the electrical contractor and the licensed holder takes place, as described herein, then the licensed holder may request that a new license be issued in his or her name. However, all of the requirements of the license, as stated in this chapter must be fully complied with.
