§ 151.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   CHIEF ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR. The department head of the Electrical Inspection Department.
   ELECTRICAL COMMISSION. The Electrical Commission of the city.
   ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR. Any person engaged in the business of or holding themselves out to the public as engaged in the business of installing, altering, repairing or contracting to install or repair wires, conductors, motors, conduits, conduit fittings, wire supports, raceways, electrical signs and erections, devices, appliances or equipment for the transmission or use of electrical current.
   ELECTRICAL INSPECTION DEPARTMENT. The city-operated department created for the purpose of administering this chapter.
   ELECTRICAL WORK. Any work of installing, maintaining, altering or repairing any electrical wiring, including conduits, conduit fittings, raceways, sign erections, motors, devices or appliances for the transmission or use of electric current.
   EXAMINING BOARD. A board which will conduct examinations for other than licensed holders.
   LICENSED HOLDER. The name of the individual who has passed the required examination and who has been issued a license.
