305.02 OFFICIAL TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES.

   (a)    The Traffic Engineer shall place and maintain traffic control devices upon any street or highway under his jurisdiction as are necessary to effectuate this Traffic Code; and in addition thereto, he is hereby authorized to place and maintain such traffic control devices upon any street or highway under his jurisdiction as are necessary to effectuate temporary traffic control regulations made by him pursuant to Section 305.04.

   (b)    All traffic control devices placed pursuant to the provisions of this Traffic Code shall conform to the manual and specifications for traffic control devices adopted by the Ohio Department of Transportation in accordance with Ohio R.C. 4511.09.
