350.17 COMMERCIAL QUADRICYCLE OPERATOR'S LICENSE; APPLICATION; FEES.
   (a)    Every person driving a commercial quadricycle operator shall be licensed as a commercial quadricycle operator and each applicant must:
      (1)    Be licensed by the State of Ohio to operate a motor vehicle;
      (2)    Be twenty-one (21) years of age or over;
      (3)    Not be currently engaging in the illegal use of alcohol or drugs;
      (4)    Cleared by a criminal background check, which is completed by a law enforcement entity, association, corporation, or firm approved by the City Manager to perform such services;
      (5)    Shall produce satisfactory evidence that the applicant has completed a course in first aid and lifesaving, approved by the Chief of Police, and in addition, be in sound physical condition, have good eyesight and not subject to any infirmity, defect or disorder of mind or body which might reasonably render him/her unfit for the safe carrying out of the duties of a commercial quadricycle operator;
      (6)    Provide two (2) front face photographs of the applicant taken within thirty (30) days of the date of the application. The photographs shall be two (2) inches by two (2) inches in size; and
      (7)   Provide such other information as the Director of Finance may require.
   (b)    Every license shall be issued for the calendar year and shall expire on December 31 of each year, unless sooner suspended or revoked by the Director of Finance. License fees for each commercial quadricycle shall be payable to the City of Hamilton in the following amounts:
      (1)   Forty dollars ($40.00) upon issuance of an operator's license, and the sum of twenty dollars ($20.00) per year for each annual renewal.
   (c)   No transfer of a commercial operator license shall be permitted.
