350.09 LIABILITY INSURANCE.
No person shall operate any commercial quadricycle as defined in this chapter or permit such to be operated; nor shall any license be issued hereunder until and unless the applicant for a license hereunder obtains a policy or certificate of commercial general liability insurance for each commercial quadricycle, insuring the applicant against bodily injury and property damage with limits of one million dollars ($1,000,000) per occurrence, two million dollars ($2,000,000) annual aggregate. The policy shall afford coverage to the City of Hamilton as an additional insured. Said policy for which a license is sought shall be acceptable and approved by the Director of Finance and the Director of Law, and promptly deposited with the Finance Department upon request by the Director of Finance. The issuing insurer shall give ten (10) days written notice before cancellation of the policy to the Director of Finance. Any license issued under this Chapter shall expire upon the lapse or termination of the policy of insurance.
