350.01 DEFINITIONS.

   For the purpose of this Chapter, the words and phrases defined in the sections hereunder shall have the meanings therein respectively ascribed to them, unless a different meaning is clearly indicated by the context.

   (a)    "Codified Ordinances" shall mean the Codified Ordinances of the City of Hamilton, Ohio.

   (b)    "Commercial Quadricycle" shall mean a vehicle that has fully-operative pedals for propulsion entirely by human power and that meets all of the following requirements:

      (1)    It has four (4) wheels and is operated in a manner similar to a bicycle.

      (2)    It has at least five (5) seats for passengers.

      (3)    It is designed to be powered by the pedaling of the operator and the passengers.

      (4)    It is used for commercial purposes.

      (5)    It is operated by the vehicle owner or an employee of the owner. [ORC 4301.62(F)(3)].

   (c)    "Director of Engineering" shall mean the City of Hamilton Director of Engineering and/or his or her designee.

   (d)   "Director of Finance" shall mean the City of Hamilton Director of Finance and/or his or her designee.

   (e)    "Chief of Police" shall mean the City of Hamilton Chief of Police and/or his or her designee.

   (f)   "City Manager" shall mean the City of Hamilton City Manager and/or his or her designee. (Ord. 2023-7-66. Passed 7-12-23.)
