175.09 CARRYING OUT OF URBAN RENEWAL PROJECTS.

   Subject to the approvals of Council as and when appropriate, the City Manager, Director of Community Development and Planning, Law Director, Director of Finance, and other appropriate City officials, shall proceed to propose to take such actions from time to time as are necessary and appropriate to carry out the redevelopment and rehabilitation of the urban renewal project area in accordance with the urban renewal plan. Such actions may include, without limitation, negotiation for the acquisition of parcels, obtaining appraisals, title examinations and reports; making provisions for the acquisition of properties, by negotiation or appropriation; demolition and clearance; making of site improvements; and preparation of sites for disposition for private redevelopment, and disposition of properties for private redevelopment.
