Approval of an urban renewal plan by Council shall constitute an amendment of the City's existing Master Plan, by way of supplementing such Master Plan with the urban renewal plan so approved, and upon such approval such urban renewal plan shall be deemed to be part of the Master Plan of the City, and any conflicting portions of the Master Plan as it previously existed shall be deemed to have been superseded by the urban renewal plan.
