171.08 REQUISITIONS.

   Requisitions for articles, commodities, supplies, equipment and materials by any department or office shall be addressed to the City Purchasing Agent, approved by the director of such department or the head of such office, and if the department or office has available appropriation balance in excess of all unpaid obligations sufficient to pay for such supplies, etc., the City Purchasing Agent shall either furnish the items requisitioned from stores or shall procure them by purchase.
