1751.05 WATER SUPPLY.
(a) The water supply at and for the temporary mass gathering shall be designed, constructed, operated, and maintained in accordance with the standards of the Ohio Department of Health.
(b) Plans for proposed, new, or modified water supplies for the temporary mass gathering shall be submitted to the Ohio Department of Health and the Health Department.
(c) The water supply shall be of potable quality.
(d) If water is hauled to the temporary mass gathering it shall be:
(1) From an approved source; and
(2) Hauled in properly constructed and operated equipment by a licensed Butler County Water Hauler; and
(3) Dispensed in an approved manner.
(e) There shall be no cross connections between potable and non-potable water supplies.
(f) The water distribution system shall be protected against backflow at all points.
(g) All water storage tanks shall have watertight covers and be protected at all times against:
(1) The entrance of insects; and
(2) The entrance of foreign material; and
(3) The entrance of contaminating material.
(h) All pumps, tanks, filters, softeners, appliances, and devices shall be installed in such a manner as to protect the water supply from contamination.
(i) Chemicals or materials added to the water supply or brought in contact with the water supply shall be harmless to humans.
(j) Common drinking cups shall not be permitted at any temporary mass gathering.
(k) Any and all drinking fountains shall be of approved sanitary design and construction.
(l) Any interruption in the treatment of a drinking water supply shall be reported immediately to the Commissioner of Health.
(m) There shall be no change made in:
(1) The source of a drinking water supply or
(2) The method of treatment of a drinking water supply without the approval of the Ohio Department of Health and the Health Department.
