167.05 FRANCHISE RECORDS.

The certified copies of public utility grants, renewals and extensions thereof, and all transfers, mortgages and other documents affecting the title or use of public utilities, required to be filed with the City under provisions of Section 15.08 of the Charter, shall be communicated to Council and shall be properly filed, recorded, indexed and preserved as public records by the Director of Finance.
