163.01 DEPOSIT OF PUBLIC MONEYS.
   All public moneys coming into the hands of the City Treasurer as City Treasurer of the City of Hamilton, except such sums as it may be necessary to retain in the City offices for the usual transaction of City business, shall be deposited by the City Treasurer in such banks or banking institutions as are designated as depositories of such moneys, in the manner provided by Ohio R.C. Ch. 135; provided however, the City Manager shall be considered the "governing board" for the purpose of awarding and executing depository contracts for the deposit of such public moneys.
