161.02 RECORDING.

No bond, note, certificate of indebtedness or other interest bearing obligation of the City shall be valid in the hands of any purchaser until it is recorded in the office of the Sinking Fund Commission, with the date of such recording over the signature of the secretary or assistant secretary of the Commission. (1931 Code § 14.2732)
