153.06 DUTIES.
   (a)    The Board shall study, advise and record the prevalence of disease within the City and as to all matters pertaining to all local public health and sanitation in such manner as provided by Section 006.39 of the City Charter and ordinances, including the basic services as recommended by the State Department of Health, and as to the coordination of services and activities carried out by official and voluntary agencies operating programs within the Hamilton Health District. The Board shall make such recommendations concerning the public health as may seem to it desirable. The Board shall hear all appeals as provided for and set forth in Section 1739.10 of the Health Code. The City Health Director shall attend all meetings of the Board and shall have the right to take part in the discussion of all matters coming before the Board, but shall have no vote therein.
