131.01 ADMINISTRATION; COMPOSITION.

There is hereby established a Division of Police in the Department of Public Safety, to be administered and controlled by a Chief of Police, subject to the provisions of the Charter and ordinances, and to the direction of the Director of Public Safety. The Division of Police shall consist of the Chief of Police and such number of patrolmen, other officers and employees as the City Manager shall determine.
