143.02 DUTIES OF PLANNING DIRECTOR.

   (a)   The Planning Director of the City of Hamilton shall be responsible for the operation of the Department of Planning. The Planning Director shall serve as Secretary to the City Planning Commission. The Planning Director shall be subject to the Charter and ordinances of the City of Hamilton. From and after the effective date of this legislation, any reference to "Director of Community Development" in existing legislation, codified or uncodified, or any rules and regulations of the City of Hamilton or any other documents related to the functions and duties of said position shall be interpreted to mean the Director of Planning provided the subject matter falls within the purview of the Director of Planning or any Division under his/her direction.
