315.09 ALTERNATIVE PERMIT.

The Chief of Police, in denying an application for a special event permit, shall be empowered to authorize the conduct of the event on a date, at a time, at a place and/or over a route different than that named by the applicant. An applicant desiring to accept an alternative permit shall, within five (5) days after notice of the action of the Chief of Police, file a written notice of his or her acceptance with the the Chief of Police. An alternate event permit shall conform to the requirements of and shall have the effect of, a special event permit under this chapter.
