181.071 WAGES OF PERMANENT FULL-TIME CITY EMPLOYEES CALLED TO ACTIVE MILITARY DUTY.

   Until such time as the documentation establishing the gross military pay has been received by the Director of Finance, each permanent full-time employee of the City, who either has been, or who hereafter is, called or ordered to perform active-duty service in any component of the armed forces of the United States, including the Ohio National Guard, for more than a one month period, shall receive a wage of $500.00 per month. It shall be the obligation of the employee to forward such documentation establishing the gross military pay to the Director of Finance.

   Upon receipt of gross military pay documentation, such employee shall receive the difference between the permanent City employee’s monthly gross wage and the employee’s monthly gross military pay, excluding compensation for travel, food and lodging, as earned by the employee while on military duty.
