929.06 SCHEDULE OF FEES.

   There is hereby established the following uniform schedule of rates for the services and use of facilities of the storm water management system by the owner, tenant, or occupant of the premises using the services and facilities of said system, which rates shall be effective for bills rendered on February 1, 2019, and thereafter.

   (a)    The equivalent residential unit (ERU) equals the total square footage of impervious area of the property divided by 2,536 square feet. Equivalent residential units will be rounded to the nearest tenth (0.1) of a unit. The rate to be charged for the storm water use fee per ERU shall be a flat rate per month of:

   (b)    Parcels which are undisturbed and undeveloped property may be assessed a storm water user fee which if charged shall be determined by dividing the total square footage of the property by the square footage of an equivalent residential unit times a correction factor of 0.0 times the rate of an equivalent residential unit (ERU). The equivalent residential unit equals the total square footage of impervious area of the property divided by 2,536 square feet. Equivalent residential units will be rounded to the nearest tenth (0.1) of a unit.

   (c)    The rates to be charged for all property other than provided for in subsections (a) and (b) herein, shall be the rate established in subsection (a) multiplied by the number of equivalent residential units. The equivalent residential unit equals the total square footage of impervious area of the property divided by 2,536 square feet. Equivalent residential units will be rounded to the nearest tenth (0.1) of a unit.

   (d)    The rates to be charged for all residential dwelling units will be determined by multiplying 1.0 ERU by the fee for an ERU established in subparagraph (a) herein.

   (e)    Public road and freeway rights of way, including streets, boulevards, alleys, sidewalks, curbing, street crossings, grade separations, and other public ways and easements, and highway structures belonging to the City, state and federal government, shall be exempt from the rate established by this section because they function as part of the storm water collection and conveyance system. Private rights of way will be charged as set forth in this section.
