353.16 MUNICIPAL PARKING GARAGE RATES.
The fees for long-term and short-term parking in the Municipal Parking Garage shall be as follows:
(a) Effective December 1, 2013, the monthly rental fee for each parking space in the Municipal Parking Garage shall be as follows:

The above stated monthly rental fees shall be payable in advance on the first day of each month. (Ord. 2013-10-90. Passed 10-23-13.)
(b) In the event keys or other similar devices are issued to monthly rental tenants in the Municipal Parking Garage for the purpose of securing admission to the Garage, such tenants shall be responsible for such key or other device and shall pay the sum of ten dollars ($10.00) as replacement cost in the event of loss or damage.
(c) A fee of $.75 per hour per space shall be charged for hourly rental in the garage with the exception that the first two hours shall be free. The maximum daily charge for hourly rental shall be six dollars ($6.00) per calendar day.
(d) In the event an hourly rental tenant of the Municipal Parking Garage loses, or otherwise damages, the hourly parking rental ticket issued to such tenant, so that it is impossible to ascertain the length of time such tenant's vehicle was parked in the Garage, such tenant shall pay the sum of six dollars ($6.00).

(e) The City Manager or his designee may, at their discretion, negotiate agreements with accredited academic institutions located in the downtown area of the City so that students enrolled in said institutions may rent parking spaces on the Fourth floor of the McDulin Garage at a monthly rate of $5.00 per space per month.

(f) The monthly leased parking rate in George McDulin Municipal Parking Garage for residents who live in the downtown area bounded by Dayton Street (North), Ludlow Street (South), Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard (East) and Second Street (West) will be $20.00.
(1) Residents will be offered up to two (2) reserved parking spaces per address.
(2) Up to one-hundred (100) spaces in the parking garage shall be allocated for those residents and shall be available on a first-come, first-served, basis.

(g) The monthly leased parking rate in George McDulin Municipal Parking Garage for businesses in the downtown area bounded by Dayton Street (North), Ludlow Street (South), Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard (East) and Second Street (West) will be $20.00.
(1) Businesses will be offered up to two (2) reserved parking spaces per address.
(2) Up to twenty (20) spaces in the parking garage shall be allocated for those businesses and shall be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
