353.15 PARKING LOT RENTALS.

   (a)    The monthly rental fee for each space in the following surface parking lots owned and/or operated by the City shall be as follows:

(1)    Criminal Justice Building Lot		$30.00
(2)    Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and High Street Lot		30.00
	A.    Up to fifty (50) spaces in the above parking lot shall be allocated for those students who are enrolled at an accredited academic institution located in the downtown area of the City, at the following special reduced student rate, effective November 1, 2014	5.00
	B.   City employees shall be eligible at the following special reduced rate, effective September 1, 2015	15.00
(3)    Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and Dayton Street Lot (Horn Estate)		30.00
(4)    Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and Market Street Lot		30.00
(5)    Riverfront Plaza Lot (between High Street and Market Street)		30.00
(6)    Parking lot south of Dayton Street between Second Street and Riverfront Plaza		25.00
(7)    Designated Parking Spaces in Lot D (northeast corner of Riverfront Plaza at Market Street)		30.00

      (8)   Parking lot bounded by Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Maple Street, South Third Street, and Ludlow Street. The monthly leased parking rates shall be as follows:

         A.   Parking rental shall be $40 per month per space.

         B.   City employees shall be eligible at the reduced rate of $20 per month per space.

            1.   In the event that all parking spaces are rented and there is a need for additional parking spaces, City employees will be relocated based on the seniority of their parking tenure in this parking lot. Lowest seniority will be first to be relocated. If seniority is the same, then selection will be alphabetical starting with the letter “A” based on last name.

         C.   Spaces designated by the City Manager as necessary for the purpose of encouraging economic development within the Central Business District (CBD) will be subject to rates set by agreement between the City of Hamilton and businesses located within the Central Business District.    (b)    The monthly rental fee provided herein shall be payable in advance on the first day of each month.
