131.10 FEE FOR UTILIZATION OF THE CITY’S SWAT AND TRT TEAMS.

   (a)   Whenever any governmental jurisdiction utilizes the City’s Special Weapons and Tactical Team (SWAT) or the Tactical Response Team (TRT), it shall pay a fee which shall be equal to twice the cost incurred by the City for the services of each Team, plus the replacement cost of any damaged equipment. The aforesaid cost for services of each Team shall include, but shall not be limited to, salaries and benefits of Team members participating in any response or utilization, and the deployment of equipment.

   (b)   The City Manager may make rules and regulations, and from time to time may amend, revoke or add to such rules and regulations, not inconsistent with this section as he may deem necessary or expedient in respect to billing for the aforesaid fee and collection thereof.
