909.03 REMOVAL OF SNOW AND ICE.

It shall be the duty of the owner of any premises abutting upon any public sidewalk to remove from such sidewalk any snowfall thereon, and to remove any accumulation or cover of ice from any such sidewalk, or to cover such ice with sand or other substance so as to render it safe and convenient for passage within a reasonable time. Failure to comply with the requirement of this section shall be deemed to be a violation of this section.
