907.11 TAMPERING WITH WARNING DEVICE.

   No person shall destroy, remove, displace, extinguish or in any way interfere with any light, signal, barricade or other warning of any nature whatsoever which is placed at or near any excavation, obstruction or other dangerous place in the streets or other thoroughfares, or in any other public ground or public place for the purpose of warning and protecting persons except as authorized and directed to do so by the proper authority or by the persons responsible for placing and maintaining such lights, signals, barricades or warnings.
