905.07 OFFENSES.

   (a)   No person shall exhibit upon any premises a number having the general appearance of a street number, the use of which has not been confirmed or assigned to such premises, or the use of which has been confirmed or assigned to other premises on the same thoroughfare.

   (b)   No person, having been notified so to do by the Director of Public Works, shall fail within ten days after receipt of such notice to place, relocate, replace or make legible the proper number at the entrance of the premises owned or occupied or in charge of such person.

   (c)   No person shall destroy or deface any number put up in conformity with the provisions of this chapter. (1931 Code §20.4693)
