905.04 NUMBER TO BE DISPLAYED.

   The owner, occupant or person in charge of any premises upon which a building is located shall place at each street entrance to such premises the proper building number for such entrance, as confirmed by this chapter or as assigned by the Director of Public Works.

   In the event a building is located upon the premises so that it faces an alley at the rear or side of such premises, then the building number for the premises shall be placed upon the building located in closest proximity to the alley.

   The foregoing building numbers shall be placed so that they can be clearly seen from the street or alley which they face. Such numbers shall not be less than four inches in height. All new construction following the effective date of this section shall have illuminated or reflectorized building numbers not less than four inches in height.
