761.44 TAXICAB DRIVER'S LICENSE REQUIRED.

(a) No taxicab subject to regulation under this chapter shall be operated by a driver without first having procured a license for such a purpose from the City.

(b) The taxicab company shall maintain a file on each driver engaged in transporting persons from points inside the City, showing compliance with subsection (a) hereof.
