761.36 CONDITION OF TAXIMETER.

   No person shall operate any taxicab if any part of the mechanism of or in connection with the taximeter has been changed, altered or disconnected since it was last tested by the City, or if the City test seal or such taximeter is broken, removed or defaced, or if upon test or inspection the taximeter is found to register inaccurately until such taximeter is tested and found to register accurately.
