761.22 IDENTIFICATION RESTRICTION.

No person owning or operating any taxicab, having adopted any distinctive name, design, color scheme or style of painting or lettering, shall operate any taxicab not prominently bearing such name, design, color scheme or style of painting or lettering. Taxicabs not properly marked shall not be put into service. Any improperly marked vehicle nevertheless placed in service shall be removed from service until it is properly marked.
