717.02 SPACES, RATES AND PARKING.

   (a)    The Director of Public Works or his/her designee shall lay out and mark spaces within the City Markets. Anyone interested in renting a market space within the Courthouse Market for the purposes herein set forth shall comply with the requirements of this chapter and shall pay the following fees therefor:

 

Location of Market Space	Annual Fee for Market Space
Second Street	$1.00
Court Street	$1.00
Front Street	$1.00

 

   All such market spaces within the Courthouse Market shall be arranged by the Director of Public Works or his/her designee to permit parallel parking only on Court Street and angular parking only on Second Street and Front Street. The Director of Public Works or his/her designee shall establish such rules and regulations as may be necessary for the orderly conduct of the City Markets, including the designation of parking, loading, and storage facilities. No person shall be entitled to sell or transfer his or her assignment or to designate who is permitted to occupy their space in case of occasional absence. In the event of habitual absences the Director of Public Works or his/her designee reserves the right to expel such vendor(s) from the market.

   (b)    The City Manager or his/her designee may permit anyone interested in renting a market space within the Market on the Plaza for the purposes herein set forth. All vendors shall comply with the requirements of this chapter as specific to the Market on the Plaza shall pay the following fees therefore:

 

Location of Market Space	Annual Fee for Market Space
Market on the Plaza	$10.00

 

   All such market spaces within the Market on the Plaza shall be arranged by the Director of Public Works or his/her designee. The Director of Public Works or his/her designee shall establish such rules and regulations as may be necessary for the orderly conduct of the City Markets, including the designation of parking, loading, and storage facilities. No person shall be entitled to sell or transfer his or her assignment or to designate who is permitted to occupy their space in case of occasional absence. In the event of habitual absences the Director of Public Works or his/her designee reserves the right to expel such vendor(s) from the market.

   (c)    The City Manager or his/her designee may permit anyone interested in renting a market space within the RiversEdge Market the purposes herein set forth. All vendors shall comply with the requirements of this chapter as specific to the RiversEdge Market and, effective May 1, 2014, shall pay the following fees therefore:

 

Location of Market Space	Annual Fee for Market Space for the year ending December 31, 2013
RiversEdge Market	$25.00
	Fee for Market Space for each concert date beginning January 1, 2015
	The fee for each market space will be set at market rate to be determined by the City Manager or his/her designee for each individual concert date.

 

   All such market spaces within the RiversEdge Market shall be arranged by the Director of Public Works or his/her designee. The Director of Public Works or his/her designee shall establish such rules and regulations as may be necessary for the orderly conduct of the City Markets, including the designation of parking, loading, and storage facilities. No person shall be entitled to sell or transfer his or her assignment or to designate who is permitted to occupy their space in case of occasional absence. In the event of habitual absences the Director of Public Works or his/her designee reserves the right to expel such vendor(s) from the market.
