709.06 FAMILY BILLIARD ROOM DEFINED.
   "Family billiard room", for the purposes of this chapter means a room or series of rooms open to the public and in which billiard or pool tables are available for use. A room or series of rooms shall be treated as a family billiard room for purposes of this chapter only so long as:
   (a)    All billiard or pool tables shall be located in the principal room, and all other rooms shall be used for purposes which are incidental to the use of the billiard or pool tables, or for similar purposes;
   (b)    The principal room shall be on the ground floor of the building, and at least one door shall lead directly from the principal room to a sidewalk immediately adjacent to a public street or other roadway over which public vehicles are permitted to pass;
   (c)    The wall between the principal room and the sidewalk shall consist of no less than fifty percent transparent window glass, in area, between the heights of two feet and six feet from the ground; the area of the window glass shall be kept at least seventy-five percent uncovered whenever the family billiard room is open to the public; and at least sixty percent of the total area of the principal room shall be easily observable through the window glass;
   (d)    Airconditioning facilities shall be available for the entire area, and heavy smoke or other obnoxious odors shall not be permitted at any time;
   (e)    No person shall be permitted to use loud or indecent language, and any person violating is provision shall be immediately expelled. (Ord. 6630. Passed 4-15-64.)
