705.06 ISSUANCE OF LICENSE.

   (a)   The Department of Finance, within ten days after receipt of an application for an ambulance license as provided for herein, shall cause such investigation as deemed necessary to be made of the applicant and of his proposed operations.

   (b)   The Department of Finance shall issue a license hereunder for a specified ambulance, to be valid for a period of one calendar year beginning in January unless earlier suspended, revoked or terminated, when the City finds that:

      (1)    Each such ambulance, its required equipment and the premises designated in the application, comply with the standards prescribed in Sections 705.04(a), 705.07 and 705.08 and with the regulations promulgated under such sections;

      (2)    The applicant is a responsible and proper person to conduct or work in the proposed business;

      (3)    Only duly licensed drivers, attendants and attendant-drivers are employed in such capacities; and

      (4)    All the requirements of this chapter and all other applicable laws and ordinances have been met.
