541.09 CABLE TELEVISION; TAMPERING.

   (a)    No person, firm or corporation shall tamper with or willfully injure or damage any cable television equipment of which such person, firm or corporation is not the owner, including, but not limited to, all lines used for the transmission of cable television signals and converter equipment used for the reception of such cable television signals.

   (b)   No person, firm or corporation with intent to defraud, or to aid and abet another to defraud, the owner or operator of a cable television service of the lawful charges for such cable television signals or services, shall rearrange, tamper with or make connection with any facilities or equipment owned or operated by such cable television service, whether physically, inductively, acoustically, electronically or otherwise.

   (c)   Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. (Ord. 7958. Passed 4-9-75.)
