381.02 OPERATION OF VESSELS.
   (a)   No person shall operate a private vessel upon the waters of the City between 10:00 p.m. and sunrise, except upon special permit issued by the City. In the event the City issues a special permit, such private vessel shall not be operated at greater than idle speed nor at a speed that creates a wake.

   (b)   Public or private vessels may be operated on the Great Miami River between the Hamilton Low-Level Dam at Miami Conservancy District Station Number 137 + 00 and the Black Street Bridge with motors of unlimited horsepower, provided that the body of water between the Black Street Bridge and Two Mile Dam shall be a no wake/idle zone which is to be designated as such by markers or signage.
   (c)   Public or private vessels may be operated on the Great Miami River upstream from Two Mile Dam upon the waters of the City with motors of unlimited horsepower subject to the other provisions of this chapter.

   (d)   No person shall operate a vessel other than a canoe or rowboat upon the waters of the City known as Ford Hydraulic Canal.
   (e)   All vessels shall conform to Coast Guard safety standards.
   (f)   No person shall shoot or otherwise travel over the Low Level Dam or the Two Mile Dam. (Ord. 91-9-119. Passed 9-25-91.)
