339.12 STREETS MAY BE CLOSED TO HEAVY VEHICLE TRAFFIC.

   (a)   Whenever in the judgment of the City Manager damage to any street is resulting or is about to result from the operation of trucks or other heavy vehicles, the City Manager may close such street to such traffic and shall erect and maintain, or cause to be maintained appropriate signs indicating the closing of that street to such traffic.

   (b)   No person shall operate any truck or other heavy vehicle upon any street which is closed to such traffic by order of the City Manager.

   (c)   Whoever violates this section shall be fined not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000).
