§ 90.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person who violates any provision of this chapter for which another penalty is not already otherwise provided shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than $500 for each offense. Each day the violation exists shall constitute a separate offense.
   (B)   Any person who violates § 90.03 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than $500, imprisoned for not more than 12 months, or both for each offense.

   (C)   Any person who violates § 90.04 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not less than $100 nor more than $500.

   (D)    Whosoever violates the provisions of § 90.08 shall be fined not more than $50 for each day § 90.08 is violated.
   (E)   Whosoever violates the provisions of § 90.09 shall be fined not more than $50 for each violation. Each day of violation shall be deemed a separate violation.
   (F)   Any person who is issued a citation by an Animal Control Officer pursuant to § 90.23(B), if found guilty shall be deemed to have committed a violation, and shall be fined not more than $50 for each offense. Each day the violation exists shall constitute a separate offense.
   (G)   Any person whose dog or cat has been taken into custody by the Animal Control Officer and/or turned over to the County Dog Warden pursuant to § 90.20 and/or impounded pursuant to § 90.20, and who reclaims said animal within the time permitted by law, and retakes control or custody thereof, shall pay a charge to the city of $40 for the return of said animal, plus any expenses which may have been incurred for treatment of said animal by a veterinarian, or for charges incurred with the kenneling of said animal for such time as it has been held for safe keeping under the provisions of this chapter.
