Whenever a person is arrested for any violation of the sections in this chapter, the arresting officer shall prepare in triplicate written notice to appear in court containing the name and address of such person and other information listed on the ticket and the time specified in the notice to appear must be at least ten days after such arrest unless the person arrested shall demand an earlier hearing.
